About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager/Finance Director to lead our financial functions and drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and financial reporting background, with excellent knowledge of Excel (Macros), Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement controlling tools and procedures to ensure effective performance management.
  • Oversee the performance of our Group's SPVs and the Group as a whole, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage statutory, management, and bank reporting, collaborating closely with external providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and cash flow forecasts on a standalone and consolidated basis, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Establish IFRS reporting frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead project controlling initiatives, providing critical support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in our year-end process, working closely with auditors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Engage with investors, providing regular reports, financial data, and strategic recommendations to inform investment decisions.
  • Support the decision-making process for new investment projects, analyzing ROI and M&A opportunities to maximize value.
  • Forecast and analyze cash flows for our group's SPVs, incorporating key financial indicators to assess project effectiveness.
  • Analyze and manage cash flow forecasting, identifying areas for optimization and recommending improvements.
  • Cultivate relationships with financing banks, preparing utilisation requests and facilitating effective collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience, including time spent in a similar position in a business (real estate, construction, or services companies) or other related area.
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, with a solid understanding of corporate taxation principles.
  • An exceptional grasp of accounting matters, legislation, and changes, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (Macros), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently, without daily supervision, and deliver tasks autonomously while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • A multitasking attitude, with a willingness to adapt to start-up structures and navigate opportunities for growth.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving goals, coupled with a strong sense of reliability and responsibility.

We anticipate a salary in the range of $120,000-$150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
