Senior Cost Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Controller to join our cost monitoring team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing budget controls on commitments and invoices, conducting ongoing control of local accounting entries, producing reports, collecting and centralizing data from accounting, extracting, controlling, and sending commitments to accounting tools, managing open purchase orders / accruals, and updating and documenting processes.

Requirements:
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including accruals, invoice verification, capitalization, amortization, and the distinction between P&L and balance sheet.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/cost control, with experience in an international setting being beneficial.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret accounting data and articulate the narrative behind the numbers.
  • Team Collaboration: Inclusive approach with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Resilience: Ability to reflect on and learn from mistakes and setbacks.
  • Excel Proficiency: Competence in using complex formulas.
  • Power Query: Familiarity with Power Query is advantageous.
