Job OverviewThe Strategic Procurement Manager is a critical role within the organization, responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our overall goals.
This position involves analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to drive cost efficiency and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement.
- Develop and own overall GSP Reporting framework, ensuring that materials and information are clear, consistent, and aligned with Group reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives: Formulate and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's goals, focusing on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving overall business performance.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and opportunities, ensuring the organization stays ahead of competitors and adapts to changing market conditions.
- Work closely with various departments (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) to ensure alignment on strategic objectives, facilitating communication and cooperation to achieve common goals.
- Manage and coordinate all wider GSP programme initiatives, highlighting and driving interdependencies and reporting, and communicating closely with delivery teams and customers at all levels of the organization.
- Set the strategy for GSP functions in collaboration with Group, other entities, and other AXA XL functions, contributing to related projects for other areas.
