About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Law Specialist to join our team at ABB, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and expert legal guidance to ensure the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Act as a recognized specialist in a complex field of law and provide expert legal services to one or more operating departments.
  • Protect the organization's interests, mitigate legal risks, and foster a culture of integrity across all business operations.
  • Effectively manage the assigned legal team and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Labor & Employment law specialist lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification Labor & Employment Law experience in a major law firm, or in-house or preferably a combination of both.
  • Experience in working in a diverse and multinational environment providing advice in relation to local or multi-jurisdictional projects.
  • Proven track record in labor & employment law practice, including strategic decision-making, counseling, investigations, disputes, regulatory audits and M&A as well as organisational changes.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Polish, with additional languages preferred for regional responsibilities.
  • Resilient, adaptable, detail-oriented, not afraid of conflicts and able to make or influence executive decisions in a changing environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, work ethic and ethical standards.
