Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Architect with Databricks to join our team at Link Group. The ideal candidate will have advanced Python skills for production-grade data pipelines and bug fixing, as well as experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python, collaborate with an international team to develop scalable data solutions, and troubleshoot system issues (Tier 2). You will also create and maintain documentation, checklists, and workflows, set up and configure new tenants for smooth onboarding, and write integration tests to ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Python to ensure high-quality data processing.
  • Collaborate with the development team to develop scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug system issues (Tier 2) to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including checklists and workflows, to support efficient operations.
  • Configure and set up new tenants for seamless onboarding and optimal performance.
  • Write and execute integration tests to guarantee data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a data engineering or similar role.
  • Advanced Python skills for production-grade data pipelines and bug fixing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Apache Spark and testing frameworks.
  • Proficient in Gitlab and documentation.
  • B2 level English proficiency.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in international teams.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with document/graph databases.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site workshops.
