As an AR Experience Creator, you will design and implement interactive AR applications and experiences that push the boundaries of technology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create AR applications: Develop AR experiences using tools like Lens Studio, Effect House, 8th Wall, ARKit, ARCore, Unity, or WebAR frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams: Work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
- Optimize performance: Ensure AR experiences are performant on a variety of devices, focusing on frame rates, memory optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Test and debug: Perform thorough testing to ensure the stability and accuracy of AR features and resolve issues related to user interaction, tracking, and rendering.
- Stay updated on AR trends: Keep up with the latest AR/VR/MR industry advancements and tools to integrate innovative features and technologies into our projects.
- Support product deployment: Help with the integration of AR features into broader products or systems and ensure smooth deployment on app stores or other distribution platforms.
- Experience with AR development tools: Lens Studio, 8th Wall, Spark AR, Effect House, and Unity3D Web AR.
- Programming skills: Proficient in Unity (a must) and JavaScript (preferably). Other languages are a plus.
- 3D graphics knowledge: Understanding of 3D rendering, spatial mapping, object recognition, and computer vision techniques for AR applications.
- Problem-solving abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AR features for real-time performance and user experience.
- Creativity and innovation: Strong interest in creating immersive, interactive, and novel AR experiences.
- Version control: Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Self-organization and direction: Ability to work with little to no supervision while delivering the highest quality content.
- Artistic eye: Good understanding of lighting and composition. Ability to clearly follow established art direction and workflow.
