Job Title: Senior IT Consultant SAP FI

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Consultant SAP FI to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for advising our European departments in the area of Finance, acting as a subject matter expert and specialist for business processes in SAP FI (GL/AR/AP/AA) & Tax.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise European departments on finance-related matters and provide expert guidance on business processes in SAP FI.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and specialist for business processes in SAP FI (GL/AR/AP/AA) & Tax.
  • Participate in Europe-wide projects for the new implementation of S/4 HANA and provide technical expertise.
  • Manage functional sub-projects for SAP Finance in SAP implementation projects.
  • Plan and implement change requests and projects in Finance, including customizing and support processes.
  • Provide operational support for Finance and advise key users on daily business matters.
  • Train key users in Europe on finance-related topics.
  • Develop the SAP FI application area within Panasonic.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance or IT studies with relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as an SAP FI consultant.
  • Profound knowledge of business processes in the area of SAP FI, including customizing.
  • Experience in sub-project management of SAP projects.
  • Knowledge of business processes in finance is desirable.
  • Experience in larger roll-out projects is an advantage, ideally also first experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Fluent English and good German language skills.
  • Distinct analytical and customer-oriented way of thinking.
  • Confident appearance, independent, and goal-oriented way of working, as well as ability to work in a team and commitment.
