At TN Poland, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our EMEA Networks team.

About the Role:

This is a senior position within our accounting function responsible for managing and owning assigned tasks and processes within accounting area applying IFRS/US GAAP + relevant local GAAP expertise, including statutory financial statements preparation.

  1. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP allowing you to identify, propose and decide on the accounting treatment for complex transactions.
  2. The ideal candidate will be a partner to multiple stakeholders, internal and external, self-starting and able to work well without immediate supervision.
  3. You will manage and own assigned tasks and processes within accounting area applying IFRS/US GAAP + relevant local GAAP expertise, including statutory financial statements preparation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Review complex financial reporting transactions, provide guidance to your stakeholders and coordinate technical accounting research to determine proper recognition in line with regulations and company policies.
  • Be a hands-on leader managing a team of 1-3 Senior Accountants / Managers including their day-to-day activities, deliverables, issue management, as well as holidays and career path.
  • Drive and manage improvements and develop automation of daily/monthly standard tasks accounting processes and workflows.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Mastery of MS Office applications, Excel in particular, and experience with enterprise information systems (SAP) a strong plus.
  2. ACCA, CIMA or PIBR completed qualification is considered as a strong advantage.
  3. Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of any of the following languages (German, French, Italian, Turkish) considered an advantage.
  4. A results-oriented, detail-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
