Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an Electronics Hardware Design Specialist to lead the mechanical design of compute products. The successful candidate will collaborate with CAD designers and coordinate with other competencies such as electrical engineering, validation, and materials engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Dimensional management for proper assembly and performance: calculating and defining tolerances.
  • Participate in the creation of BOM (Bill of Material).
  • Project: Electronic Control Unit.
  • Project Phase: Initial phase, design for A sample to be developed and produced.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in automotive electronic hardware design. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience with technologies such as sheet metal, die casting, and plastic design.

You should also possess knowledge of design requirements to avoid EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) issues. Practical knowledge regarding heat dissipation in electronic head units is required. Proficiency in GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is essential.

A good understanding of English language skills is necessary, as well as strong team orientation. Experience working with tools like Polarion and DOORS is desirable.
