Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Developer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. in Krakow. As a Junior Application Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining existing enterprise applications, participating in the development of new applications, and completing assigned project activities on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain existing enterprise applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and SLA targets.
  • Participate in the development of new applications and feature enhancements, working closely with the development team and business stakeholders.
  • Complete assigned project activities on time, adhering to established project management methodologies and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality support and maintenance of existing applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, applying this knowledge to improve our applications and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), database CRUD operations, and object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, C++, etc.).
  • Experience with back-end frameworks (.NET, Spring, etc.) and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.) is a plus.
  • Microsoft DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
