About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity to join our global category management team as a Global Category Manager MRO. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and leading all strategic aspects within the Equipment Maintenance category across divisions on a global level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop proposals for strategic business decisions to provide high value procurement solutions to the business.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing fact-based insights for category strategies.
  • Leverage your expertise in project management to plan, organize, and manage projects considering priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results.
  • Analyze specifications for optimization, linking specifications to customer value, challenging specifications confidently, and conveying messages clearly to convince stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or related experience within the Automotive industry, preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area, with a focus in the Equipment or Maintenance domain.
  • Strong project management or other leadership experience.
  • Raw materials & components price/risk management including execution/trading based.
  • Well-versed in regulated market cost base analysis.
