Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Java developer to join our team in Gliwice, Poland. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities, maintaining existing solutions, and collaborating with our product owner, testers, and project team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and Implementing New Functionalities: You will design and implement new functionalities, accounting for approximately 75% of your workload, while maintaining existing solutions (approximately 25%).
• Developing Functionalities Based on Business Requirements: You will develop functionalities based on business requirements, working closely with the product owner to ensure timely delivery.
• Participating in Automation: You will participate in the automation of processes within the application, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
• Resolving Issues and Implementing Improvements: You will resolve reported issues and implement improvements, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with the product owner, testers, and other project team members to achieve shared goals.
• Coordination with IT Departments: You will coordinate activities with other IT departments within the company's global structures.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: You will take a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Tech Stack: You will work with PL/SQL, Java (versions 8-17), JPA, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Camunda, Kubernetes, Kafka, GitLab, Jira, and Agile methodology.

Requirements:

• Experience and Skills: You must have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, primarily working with Java technologies (8-17), PL/SQL, SQL.
• Design Principles and Relational Database Management: You should have good knowledge of design principles and relational database management.
• Programming Principles and Best Practices: You must have solid understanding of programming principles and best practices in software development.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Domain Knowledge: You must be willing to deepen domain knowledge.
• Communication and Teamwork: You should have effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Language Proficiency: You must have very good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Cultural Adaptability: You should be open to working in an international environment.
