Financial Director

Our client is a robust and innovative family-owned company operating in the distribution of heavy-duty vehicles. Due to its newly acquired business in Poland, the company is seeking a Finance Manager with extensive experience in accounting and the implementation of controlling functions.

• Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Polish Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Develop a chart of accounts in accordance with specific reporting standards, controlling requirements, and tax law.
• Confirm balances with contractors, settle the inventory of company assets, and maintain all accounting records.
• Prepare reports and statements for the needs of the management board, banks, and external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS, NBP).
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Responsible for invested capital optimization.
• Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability.
