Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Dev Tools and Experience team, providing our engineers with modern tools and platforms to help them build, test, and deliver features to our customers in a fast, safe, and compliant way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain our platforms and tools to increase productivity of other developers in the company.
  • Work side by side with other Software Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers, developing new features and increasing productivity as a member of a Scrum Team.
  • Develop and enhance developer platform (Backstage) and workflow engine (Prefect).
  • Actively engage in team meetings, building roadmaps, carving technical vision, and spreading knowledge across the engineering department.
  • Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture.
  • Represent Box Poland internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven track record of building tooling, automation, and/or services in one or multiple programming languages.
  • Troubleshooting skills and genuine interest in getting to the root cause.
  • Must speak English proficiently.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Linux fundamentals.
  • Understanding concepts of CI/CD processes and Observability.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
