About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Research Scientist to join our team at Samsung R&D Institute Poland. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge scientific research in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in AI and machine learning, with a focus on developing innovative technologies that push the boundaries of AI.
  • Conceptualize and develop new AI technologies, with a focus on safety and alignment.
  • Author and publish research papers in top-tier scientific journals and present findings at prestigious international conferences.
  • Lead and participate in collaborative projects with engineers, domain specialists, and fellow scientists to translate theoretical breakthroughs into practical applications.
  • Actively monitor and contribute to the latest developments and trends in AI research, integrating state-of-the-art advancements into research practices.
Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Control Engineering, Physics, or Cognitive Science (Master's degree with exceptional research experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical programming, with proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and computational science.
  • Profound understanding of AI mathematics.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal foundation models, and state-of-the-art generative AI techniques.
  • Excellent scientific writing skills, with a track record of publications in reputable venues.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and proven capacity to collaborate effectively in diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
