Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Accounting Specialist with Spanish to join our team at IBM Polska Sp. z o.o.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the R2R Team responsible for EMEA countries, ensuring seamless financial operations, including FA, GL, costing, and consolidation.
  • Prepare and present SLAs results to clients, providing detailed insights into their financial performance.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support the team during closing, ensuring all operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain MEC reports, providing key financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in the transformation of processes, driving continuous improvement and best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Spanish language (B2/C1) and English language (C1).
  • Proven experience in RTR (Fixed Assets, Consolidation) or a related financial background is required.
  • Experience in OTC and PTP as an asset is highly desirable.
  • A strong focus on accuracy, diligence, and commitment is essential for success in this role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP, with the ability to apply practical skills in real-world scenarios.
  • Excellent customer orientation, proactive approach, and strong communication skills are crucial for building effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Good supplier relationship skills and team spirit are essential for collaboration and teamwork.
  • Very good analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for making informed decisions and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Self-motivation, task prioritization, and deadline setting are critical skills for achieving goals and objectives.
