Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Communicate effectively with customer sites regarding changes in deliveries.
  • Assist the Operations Customer Service team with special requests for time-definite deliveries and shipment-based transport selections.
  • Daily execution of transportation planning activities, including load consolidation, mode shift, and optimization of transportation routes.
  • Manage unrouteable issues during the optimization process within expected timelines.
  • Monitor status updates from carriers and proactively communicate and resolve transportation exceptions.

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract lasting one year.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage client and carrier relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be a perfect match if you also have:

  • Familiarity with transportation industry standards and business policies.
  • Proficiency in system and platforms (SAP/TMS).
