Senior Microsoft D365 Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

The Department Lead Microsoft D365 Competence Center plays a crucial role in managing our technical and functional teams. This position involves forming a cohesive, skilled, and efficient team, recruiting and developing talented professionals, and establishing strong internal customer relationships focused on Microsoft D365 solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage, coordinate, and develop the technical and functional D365 teams
• Foster a homogeneous, competent, and efficient D365 team
• Recruit, further develop, and retain D365 team members
• Establish and expand internal customer relationships with a focus on Microsoft D365 solutions
• Collaborate technically according to the focus, e.g., as Project Manager, Management Consultant, or Solution Specialist
• Oversee rollouts and management of project managers
• Set up a global Key User Organisation and associated 2nd and 3rd level support
• Manage external service providers

System Management:

• Record requirements, conduct technical analysis, and detail specifications for implementation
• Further develop and optimize Microsoft D365 FO and CRM solutions
• Monitor release management for implementation projects and existing systems
• E nsure the operational functioning of the systems

Requirements:

• Completed studies in information technology, (business) informatics, or a comparable degree or education
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German as an additional language is desirable

Technical Skills:

• Experience in the role of D365 consultant
• Relevant experience in D365 development and solution architecture (D365, Azure, Power Platform)
• Extensive knowledge of releases and deployments of D365 solutions
• Know-how in software development, especially in the Microsoft environment

Management Skills:

• Experience in building, managing, and coordinating teams and projects
• Confident handling of workload management, project organizations, requirements and expectations management, and customer relationship management

Soft Skills:

• Solution-oriented approach with a customer-centric mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Independent and autonomous way of working
