We are OpsTalent, a Wrocław-based outsourcing company in Poland. In our people-first approach, we prioritize supplying the appropriate teams and individuals to meet the needs of our partners.

We are currently looking for a strong Backend Software Engineer to collaborate with one of our clients, a cloud-based retail management platform. This position is a hybrid working model in Wrocław, with options for flexible remote work.

The Role:
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications using PHP frameworks like CakePHP and Laravel.
  • Create and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis using Pandas.
  • Develop serverless APIs and microservices using Node.js and AWS Lambda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

  • PHP: Proficiency with CakePHP and Laravel frameworks.
  • Python: Strong experience.
  • Node.js: Expertise in building APIs and scripting, particularly with AWS Lambda.
  • Databases: Hands-on experience with MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • API Development: Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and ability to work in an iterative development cycle.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English.
