Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Expert to join our team at TN Poland. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our software products.

Responsibilities
  • Create concise, clear, and accurate product explanations that can be easily grasped by non-technical users.
  • Serve as an editor for fellow technical writers and documentation contributors.
  • Be the first adopter of Dynatrace.
  • Use your technical knowledge to navigate complex use cases and document them in an easy-consumable way.
  • Be a user advocate, connecting the perspectives of developers and users together.
  • Provide guidance for documentation contributors to enable them to work autonomously.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise and mentor fellow technical writers.
  • Work in the docs-as-code process using a markdown-based static site, VSCode, and Git.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical degree paired with writing experience OR a linguistic degree paired with technology-related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical communication, with a focus on creating user documentation for software.
  • Experience in editing other writer's content.
  • Understanding of different content types in the documentation and their purpose.
  • Superb level of English.
  • Ability to produce clear, precise, and conversational copy for the web.
  • Ability to learn quickly and drive to learn constantly.
  • Ability to understand both developers and users of software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in agile software development environment.
  • Proficiency in Markdown, Git, Jira, and PowerShell.

Salary and Compensation

We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.

Salary for Senior Information Developer: 12,000-18,000 PLN gross per month based on full-time employment.

Please be aware that we offer only employment contracts, and we're considering a hybrid working setup (2/3 days per week in the office in Gdańsk).
