About the Role

The Product Expert within our Enterprise Applications Technical team will partner with Legal and Compliance business teams, as well as cross-functional Tech teams, to drive ongoing enhancements for Tech products within their domain. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technical aspects of product changes, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party providers, developers, and internal partners to perform technical configuration and customization of solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in technical governance and oversight of product development.
  • Support the Product team in evaluating technology solutions and collaborating with vendors to influence future enhancements.
  • Manage and assess incoming demands as part of the product backlog.
  • Ensure all products supporting the business comply with internal security and risk management policies.
  • Adhere to external regulatory and statutory requirements, safeguarding sensitive data according to Haleon's policies and processes.
  • Establish Tech continuity plans for critical business products.
  • Manage change and release activities, including Software as a Service (SaaS) updates, in the production service and ensuring compliance.
  • Optimize data flow between upstream and downstream systems through secure and accurate integrations.
  • Engineer and construct drill-down dashboards and reporting capabilities for both operational and analytical reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical fields preferred, but equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training can serve as a substitute.
  • 10+ years' experience successfully delivering business applications and solutions within a large global organization.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with IT project management, system consulting, and business analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and diverse teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Understanding of Product Management through Agile Software Development.
  • Proficient in SQL (Oracle/MSSQL) and at least one Microsoft development tool (e.g., Visual Studio).
  • Experience using O365 and Windows Office administration tools is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with technical writing, analytics, and problem-solving.
  • Relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT service management for a complex, global service.
  • Excellent language skills in English in speech and writing.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with technical solutions supporting Legal eDiscovery, EDRM, litigation hold, data collection, export, and review, as well as global operations (e.g., Exterro or Relativity, Legal matter management, document management tools) & related systems configuration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Data Platform including Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Experience with Remote Desktop (RDP), Microsoft O365 system administrator tools/Purview (formerly known as Security and Compliance Center).
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with an eDiscovery tool such as Axcelerate, Clearwell, Relativity, Exterro, etc.
