Hardware Development Leader

Location: Kraków (hybrid)

A leading provider of innovative mobility solutions for the automotive industry is seeking an experienced leader to drive electronics hardware development.

Job Description:

  • Synthesizing Team Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, system leaders, and engineers to define milestones and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Technical Oversight: Establish release scope by evaluating requirements, change requests, and feasibility, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely delivery.
  • Cycle Alignment: Work closely with software development leaders to synchronize hardware, system, and software development cycles, promoting seamless integration and reducing potential delays.
  • Delivery Expectations: Set realistic expectations for electronics hardware delivery, coordinating closely with architects, design engineers, and mechanical engineers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and track hardware deliverables, testing progress, and potential risks affecting product development timelines, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for electronics hardware development timing, representing progress internally and to customers, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
    • Prototype and Production Coordination: Collaborate with prototype lines and production teams to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and required documentation, guaranteeing a smooth project execution.

We're Looking For:

  • Expertise: A Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of hardware embedded systems and mechanical constraints.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics hardware development and 2+ years of experience in leading project teams, showcasing exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication, leadership, and active listening skills, proficiency in engaging with customers and engineering leadership, and fluency in English.
