Job Description

Hitachi Energy Ltd is seeking a Global Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager to drive strategic digital initiatives and unlock growth opportunities. This role will focus on developing and implementing the IT capability within the practice area to plan and build IT solutions resulting from Business of Functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a digital culture and lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem.
  • Develop and manage a high-impact digital portfolio for the respective BU/Function, prioritize projects, and track progress towards goals.
  • Spearhead successful implementation, ensure timely delivery, and drive tangible business value.
  • Translate complex technology to clear business value and secure buy-in from business stakeholders.
  • Execute the given strategy and instruct Project Managers/Program Managers with their respective objectives.
  • Guide strategic organizational development and ensure that the project/programs are properly organized, staffed, and skilled.
  • Lead multinational teams associated with the provision of services to a particular BU.
  • Responsible for strategy and operations of their respective department, HR management of their teams, and budgets associated with their department.
  • Leading of service and project teams, guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  • Implementing agile development setups, establishing a stable end-to-end service delivery for globally used applications according to ITIL4, and guiding and supporting IT implementation projects.
  • Create a governance setup and run service/project reviews for service-receiving organizations according to IT global standards.
  • Holding the financial responsibility of all sub-teams and ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of profound experience in IT technology and Applications Development Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in large global corporations.
  • 10+ years in managing third-party providers on a global scale.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred.
