About the Opportunity

We are seeking an AR Accountant Specialist to join our Shared Service Centre in Warsaw, where you will play a key role in establishing best-in-class service.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who enjoys collaboration and networking in an international environment. If you have a strong desire to add value, this could be your opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

As an AR Accountant Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the new SSC in Warsaw and contributing to the development of centralized processes in the AR area;
  • Daily cooperation with Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics departments;
  • Proper intercompany sales registration;
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the AR function, including Internal Controls preparation;
  • Responsibility for effective delivery of receivables activities, such as collections, cash posting, customer creation, etc.

You will also prepare monthly/annual/quarterly reports and other documents required by the management team, identify and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with Husqvarna policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements for the Role

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, such as O2C, OTC, or AR Accountant;
  • Hands-on experience in driving continuous improvement and relevant accounting qualifications;
  • Knowledge of SCALA and REX is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • A very good command of spoken and written English and Polish;
  • Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity, and change;
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivation;
  • Strong teamwork skills.

Salary: €40,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
