About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate G&A Controller to join our team at Sonova Warsaw Service Center Sp. z o.o. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of progressive experience in controlling/FP&A or finance roles. Proficiency in financial reporting and analytics, as well as experience working for an international/multinational/global company, is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Financial Controlling and Compliance: Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Maintain the system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
  3. Recommend and implement changes to improve financial performance and systems.
  4. Implement and maintain robust financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance for the function.
  5. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  6. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  7. Prepare insightful financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.
  8. Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with corporate functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  9. Partner with corporate functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  10. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support on corporate functional business decisions.
  11. Project and Cost Controlling: Coordinate planning and monitoring cycles, including reviewing and challenging underlying country data and consolidating figures.
  12. Oversee project and cost controlling for the implementation of various corporate functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • University Degree in finance, accounting, or other related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in controlling/FP&A or finance roles, ideally with G&A/IT background.
  • Relevant experience in financial reporting and analytics.
  • Experience working for an international/multinational/global company.
  • Ability to plan with multiple timelines and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create clear and concise financial reports and visualizations, including KPIs.
  • Ability to implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of P&L, financial data flows, financial models, and structures.
  • Ability / experience in building large scale databases using different data sources, great analytical skills (Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a multicultural environment.
  • Good knowledge of FP&A systems, tools, and software (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are very nice to have.
  • Experience in retail/healthcare/FMCG industry.
  • Experience in project controlling.
  • Cognos/TM1.
