Job Offering: Senior Power BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing complex Power BI models, dashboards, and reports, as well as collaborating closely with business analysts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing complex Power BI models, including Import, Direct Query, and Dual approaches
  • Developing custom logic using DAX for metrics, KPIs, and organizational measures
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing BI solutions
  • Collaborating with the business analysis team and stakeholders
  • Preparing documentation for Power BI solutions

Requirements:

Experience:

  • At least 2.5 years of experience working with the Power BI platform
  • Practical experience with database systems such as Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Oracle DB, or IBM Db2
  • Experience in Data/Business Intelligence projects
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in developing complex reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Excellent knowledge of DAX
  • Understanding of BI/DWH/Data Lake concepts, including data modeling
  • Good knowledge of any SQL language (T-SQL is beneficial)
  • Experience in redesigning existing Power BI models and UI/UX optimizations
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (refresh time, smooth UX)
  • Experience in ETL/ELT process design and DW structure would be advantageous
  • Understanding of Power BI Service and Eco-System, including setup, administration, and tweaks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) would be beneficial

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Proactive approach and willingness to share knowledge with the team
  • Leadership approach and desire for further development
