Job Title: Data Solutions Architect

Altimetrik Poland is a digital enablement company that delivers innovative solutions to enterprises and startups. We are looking for a Data Solutions Architect to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Solutions Architect to support our clients and representatives in creating data systems projects, implementing data strategies, and participating in the data maturity assessment process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and a proven track record of collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in data maturity assessments and design roadmaps for data transformation.
  • Understand existing data platforms and data engineering processes to identify gaps and pain points and propose optimization.
  • Design data solution architectures, prepare development plans, and estimate resources.
  • Implement best practices for data management, governance, security, and compliance, ensuring data availability, consistency, and integrity.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data integration strategies, cloud migrations, and real-time data streaming solutions.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for presales and RfPs.
  • Recommend and implement emerging data technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Solutions Architect, including experience in data architect roles.
  • Long track record of collaboration with stakeholders, gathering requirements, understanding existing data ecosystems, and defining data strategies.
  • Experience in supporting presales activities.
  • Experience in evaluating data maturity.
  • Experience in designing scalable and robust data architectures that support current and future business needs.
  • Understanding and experience in modern data patterns such as data warehouses, data lakes, data meshes, lakehouses, etc.
  • Experience in implementing best practices for data management, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Experience or deep knowledge of creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Experience or deep knowledge of developing ETL/ELT processes and respective tools to integrate data from various sources.
  • Good knowledge of one or more cloud data ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges and optimize data architectures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and justify design decisions.
  • Willingness to travel on an occasional basis.
