Your Role

  • Lead the purchasing process of indirect materials for specified Aptiv sites in the region, ensuring quality requirements, timeliness, customer orientation, and costs are met.
  • Comply with and execute Aptiv SCM policies and procedures.
  • Manage the sourcing process and quoting process with Aptiv suppliers to obtain the best price and negotiate offers with high potential for discount or cost avoidance.
  • Process e-requests in line with agreed timeframes, ensuring their best quality and on-time delivery.
  • Support plants in cases of late or missed deliveries, obtaining explanations for delays and actions for the future.
  • Collaborate with Indirect Category Teams in the region and properly communicate order creation instructions to order creation specialists.
  • Resolve price discrepancies and related payment problems.
  • Meet yearly targets defined during each MyCore phase.
  • Maintain up-to-date e-tool statuses as required.

  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
