About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement function for manufacturing plants within the business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans that align with the business objectives.
  • Supplier Selection: Select and manage suppliers to meet business requirements.
  • Contracting: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with business terms and conditions.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years relevant sourcing work experience in global manufacturing company.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP Systems and Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI) with ability to perform Spend data analysis. In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills – logical and organized. High-level negotiation skills.
