Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Network Management Systems (NMS) within the mobility domain. This role demands expertise in managing client issues, providing technical guidance, and serving as a conduit between Customer Support and R&D teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and define the architecture of NMS solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and security standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison with customers to comprehend their requirements and address technical challenges effectively.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead the diagnosis, prioritization, and resolution of complex technical issues in customer environments, collaborating closely with Customer Support teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge communication between Customer Support and R&D teams, ensuring customer feedback is integrated into product development cycles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements in customer issue management and architectural designs, proposing advancements to keep NMS solutions competitive.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8-10 years in system architecture, focusing on NMS within the mobility sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Java/J2EE, NMS protocols (e.g., NBAPI, CORBA, SNMP), ServiceMix, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL databases, and familiarity with Git/Gerrit and module testing automation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of mobility networks (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G) and their management systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience in managing and resolving complex technical issues in dynamic environments.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, with a minimum of B2+ level competency.
