Job Title: AP Accountant with French Language Skills

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AP Accountant with strong French language skills to join our team at HTH Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices by inspecting them against statutory requirements, matching against existing Purchase Order, sending them for approval via WF tool, and posting them against cost accounts.
  • Resolve supplier queries by account analysis and direct contact with local plant responsible team.
  • Prepare payment proposals, organize approval, execute payments, and upload payment files to the banking system.
  • Perform outgoing payments and bank statement posting.
  • Post incoming cash and allocate it to customer invoices, with direct contact with customers for payment details and outstanding amounts.
  • Prepare ageing reports and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain supplier master data.
  • Perform AP, AR, and bank account reconciliations at month-end.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Perform integration postings.
  • Reconcile GL accounts (limited number of accounts).
  • Calculate management fees.
  • Analyze waste.
  • Analyze accounts between ERP and Business Warehouse.
  • Reconcile GR/IR.
  • Calculate depreciation and analyze results.
  • Closing and opening accounting periods.
  • Maintain exchange rates.
  • Participate actively in new initiatives and process improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in AP in BPO/SSC environment.
  • Accounting/Finance degree or extensive accounting courses.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Good French speaker – B2 or higher.
  • Good English speaker – B2 or higher.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Team player.
