Expert VMware Migration Specialist

The Jit Team, a Polish company with over 14 years of experience in IT solutions, has partnered with the leading financial group in the Nordic countries. Our team has successfully completed over 60 projects for this client, engaging over 200 Jit personnel.

As a VMware Specialist, you will be responsible for migrating and cleaning up Standard Application in our VMware Cluster and mirroring it. This involves conducting VMware-centric migration and clean-up for Standard Application migration and capacity management.

• Drive Prod test execution and support lessons learned
• Drive large-scale vmotions inside VMware environments (empty capacity block or migrate virtual machines to SSR)
• Support PM with capacity plan creation to create capacity (e.g., space) and line can optimize hardware refresh (compute)

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Preferably VCP in Datacenter (VMware certification)
• Understanding of multi-site VMware installations
• Having worked with large-scale VMware installations
• Understanding of VVD (VMware Validated Design)
• Qualification: VMware specialist, Experience with scripting
