As a Collection Specialist with Portuguese expertise, you will play a crucial role in our success by:
- Monitoring customer accounts and identifying overdue payments.
- Collecting and analyzing data for a selected payment/debt history.
- Reaching out to customers to discuss their debts and ensuring timely collections.
You will own the Customer Ledger, responsible for keeping it clear and meeting collection targets. You'll also act as a Business Partner to OpCos (e.g. Cash/Pre Legal Collectors, Sales, Customer Service) providing timely and accurate data to ensure effective collections.
We encourage collaboration with other HGSS teams (Front and Back Office teams) to ensure effective delivery of collection processes and adherence to standards. Your primary focus will be managing customer relationship accounts and providing high-quality service at all times.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Portuguese level C1
- English level B2
- At least 1 year of experience in OTC Collection area
- Ability to work in shift mode - min. 2 days/week 12-8pm
- Experience in accounting background & expertise
- Strong customer focus
- Collection experience
- HORECA customers experience
- Ability to deal with resistance
- Understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash process - Business knowledge
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a multi-national environment (incl. Shared Services Centers)
- Negotiation skills
