Salary: Competitive salary based on experience, with an estimated $80,000 - $120,000 per annum for this role in Kraków/fully remote.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in IT, with 2 years in a sole security role(s). They should possess extensive knowledge of Linux, Network, and AWS, as well as strong understanding of IT security-related processes and frameworks (OWASP top ten).

Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and maintain secure SDLC processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the organization
  • Provide internal security consultations and stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Document technical procedures and user guides for reference and reporting purposes
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of experience in IT security
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cryptography principles (symmetric, asymmetric encryption)
  • Experience with web security scanning tools (Burp Suite, Invicti Acunetix, Tenable Nessus)
  • Good communication skills and fluency in speaking and writing English
