Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to join our team at TE Connectivity Corporation.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and establishment of analytical platforms and/or data-enabled solutions, leveraging broad knowledge of the entire data and analytics ecosystem.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience across all three core data domains: data science, data engineering, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and maintain efficient data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Data Storage Optimization: Develop and optimize data storage solutions, including Amazon Redshift data warehouses and Amazon S3 data lakes.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality and integrity through validation, cleansing, and error handling processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, architects, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets for business intelligence.
  • Data Security: Implement measures to protect sensitive information and ensure access controls.
  • Process Automation: Automate and improve data processes and workflows for scalability and efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor data infrastructure performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document data pipelines, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly Glue, Redshift, and S3.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Streamlit, and Talend would be beneficial.
