We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team at ETFbook. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and performance of our financial market data product.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual QA testing and automation scripting using Playwright, Cypress, or similar JS testing frameworks. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Detect, document, standardize, and monitor issues and defects
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for repetitive scenarios, identifying corner cases
- Analyze system requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on those specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual QA testing, preferably focused on financial data analytics applications
- Strong knowledge of core testing processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of testing for data application, ability to write tests against data (Python, SQL, C#)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Familiarity with SQL, MongoDB, and the ability to query databases to validate data
