Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the deployment of TE Connectivity's sustainability strategy. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to calculate product carbon footprint, implement green programs, and utilize internal reporting tools to enhance circularity within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth product carbon footprint calculations for existing products
  • Collaborate with engineers to conduct comparative PCF studies for existing and improved products
  • Develop and implement PCF automation for customer requests
  • Maintain a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment database, working closely with the metal and resin teams, as well as gathering data from various sources and predefined process templates
  • Support the LCA-PCF workstream project, collaborating with cross-BU teams to promote LCA/PCF topics across different departments
  • Provide technical expertise and support to various departments and customers regarding sustainability-related topics
  • Manage sustainability data sets, including Key Performance Indicators, baselines, targets, and other essential metrics to drive improvement programs around sustainability topics, such as climate change, energy efficiency, waste, water resources, transportation, and product life cycle, within the TE Energy Business Unit
  • Develop reporting tools in collaboration with relevant TE Business functions to integrate sustainability data into business reporting and data systems, enabling leadership to assess performance
  • Support the creation of platforms to effectively communicate information to the TE organization and business partners through the modeling of qualitative and quantitative environmental, social, and reporting-related data reflecting current and future materials, products, or emission footprints
  • Translate complex reporting/data requirements into effective business solutions
  • Provide internal customers with reports regarding compliance metrics
  • Presentation of executive leadership summaries on open issues and projects, including action plans and timelines for completion
  • Maintenance of accurate monthly reports
  • Development of new dashboards for all KPIs on a plant level and support for the maintenance of web-based tools for team members, including supplier-facing tools
  • Conduct data analysis, including performance analysis, risk assessments, strategy KPI analysis, facility environmental impact analysis, and deep dives to provide root cause analysis of issues
  • Additional reporting and tracking projects on demand
