Our client is an international business renowned for their products.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

This role will involve handling accounts receivable tasks for designated countries or legal entities, ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines and executing cash application activities efficiently.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or equivalent professional experience, as well as proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Familiarity with working in a Shared Services framework or similar operational model is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts receivable tasks for designated countries or legal entities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines, focusing on accurate credit management, billing, and invoicing processes.
  • Execute cash application activities, manage collections, and resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Prepare and oversee bad debt provisions while implementing relevant internal controls.
  • Perform end-to-end credit analysis, dispute resolution, and cash allocation processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and period-end closing activities in line with the closing calendar.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems, processes, and documentation related to AR policies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, enabling effective communication.
  • Familiarity with working in a Shared Services framework or similar operational model.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable workflows and best practices.
  • Practical experience with SAP.
  • Exposure to transitioning processes to a Shared Services setup is advantageous.
