We are seeking a highly skilled Project Configuration and Change Management Specialist to join our team at Alstom. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by effectively managing configuration and change processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading CCM activities within project/program organizations, promoting Alstom's Code of Ethics, and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct. They will also apply configuration and change standard procedures, ensure team members follow established guidelines, and report any CCM-related issues within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead CCM activities in project/programs or support senior colleagues in doing so
  • Promote Alstom's Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct
  • Apply configuration and change standard procedures and ensure team members do not bypass them
  • Ensure activities and roles defined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed
  • Report and escalate any CCM-related issues within the project/program organization and propose possible solutions
  • Contribute to performance indicators and suggest improvements to CCM activities
  • Support access rights management to configuration and change databases
  • Update data managed and stored in configuration and change databases/tools
  • Ensure execution of Quality Gates for CCM deliverables
  • Support configuration management activities, including item identification and management under configuration control, preparation of release notes, and establishment of the As Build/As Installed/As Maintained CSAR
  • Lead or support change management activities, including organizing Change Control Boards, monitoring change requests, and prioritizing changes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Configuration & Change Management, Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrialization, Data Management, and Document Control inter-related with CCM
  • Basic experience working in an international environment
  • Knowledge of Alstom configuration & change processes and related Métiers/Functions (desirable)
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a configuration and change management role (desirable)
Competencies and Skills
  • Desirable knowledge of railway products, systems, and components
  • Desirable knowledge of CCM tools (ALM, Clear Quest, SAP, PLM, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate with all involved project/program stakeholders
  • Good English language skills (desirable)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Systematic, rigorous, proactive, and organized
  • Contributing to continuous improvement on processes and standards
  • Team contributor and sets a good environment for team colleagues
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
