Main Responsibilities:
  • Machine Learning Development: Develop and implement machine learning models to improve data analysis and search capabilities on the Splunk platform.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning algorithms with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained through thorough testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • Strong background in machine learning and experience with popular libraries and frameworks.
  • Expertise in Java/Scala or C++ with knowledge of distributed systems design and object-oriented programming practices.
  • Outstanding computer science fundamentals and data structure knowledge.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar high-volume data technologies will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and testing best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development, Continuous Integration, and GitHub.
  • Passion for solving hard problems and exploring new technologies.
  • Excellent team player with good communication and documentation skills.
  • Must have 2+ years as a backend engineer.

Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is required.
