Material Planner I

At Ecolab, we are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner I to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and processing orders in our SAP system to meet our required inventory levels based on agreed forecasts and requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Administer SAP orders, ensuring timely processing, modifications, and delivery coordination.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers at the operational level, ensuring excellent service performance through capacity planning, production prioritization, and issue resolution.
• Drove effective communication and cooperation with engaged parties, including warehouses, marketing, planning, and AP teams.
• Maintain a proper inventory level, avoiding stockouts and overstocking.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing to cross-departmental alignment, optimization projects, and in-depth analysis to ensure high service levels and product availability.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Coordinate product returns, phase-outs, and phase-ins.
• Provide training and guidance to new team members.

What We're Looking For:

• Several years of experience in supply planning, customer service, sales administration, or a similar field.
• Strong Excel and SAP skills, especially in MM, PP, and SD modules.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional network, leading discussions, driving conclusions, and providing recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as commercial, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• High-quality work and engagement, using proactivity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
