Main responsibilities:

  • Contract third-party logistics service providers to optimize our supply chain.
  • Prepare and run tenders for categories in scope, collaborating with stakeholders, including service providers, internal customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collect data, conduct market research, define terms and conditions, negotiate proposals, and finalize contracts.
  • Manage service providers, stay up-to-date with market trends and legislative changes.
  • Contribute to improvement and development projects, such as footprint analysis, make-or-buy decisions, cost efficiency initiatives, and more.
  • Implement purchasing policies and best practices.

Perfect candidate has:

  • At least 6 years of experience in transportation purchasing or sourcing in indirect spend areas.
  • Fluent English written and spoken (B2), with any additional language being a plus.
  • Project management experience.
  • Relevant skills in purchasing, including negotiation, supplier management, and procurement.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Solid market knowledge of logistics areas, including land, sea, and warehousing.
  • Operational knowledge of logistics and supply chain areas, such as transportation, warehousing, distribution networks, and complex logistics systems.
  • Experience with e-Procurement platforms is an asset.
  • Some travel may be required.
