Job Overview

JTI seeks a Tobacco Ingredients Assessment Lead to drive compliance with worldwide regulations and standards for ingredients and materials used in product manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies for ensuring compliance with global regulations related to JTI products, including tobacco, reduced-risk products, and electrical consumer goods.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product & Regulatory Affairs Agile Operations, Corporate Affairs, and Legal, to monitor and address global technical standards and regulations.
  3. Lead assessments of new ingredients and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product launches in new markets, supporting the JT Group ingredient evaluation program.
  4. Oversee maintenance of accurate records of ingredient-related details in the SRA Secure Database, ensuring their accessibility to the Reporting and Systems team for regulatory purposes.
  5. Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers from the SRA perspective through supplier interactions.
  6. Drive material testing efforts with AT&PA to verify compliance of JTI products and ensure accurate representation of materials and ingredients.
  7. Ensure seamless integration of material qualification processes, including input in Appollo and SAP approvals, while working closely with GIP and R&D teams.
