Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Financial Specialist to support our business in Poland. The successful candidate will act as a Business Partner for our operational teams, providing financial services and analysis to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Tasks:

  • Support the development and construction phase of our Onshore, Solar, and Storage business in Poland by setting up, interpreting, and analysing financial and operational KPIs.
  • Take responsibility for business planning and forecasting, including deviation analyses and the preparation of comprehensive storylines for stakeholders.
  • Regularly report operational business performance and conduct ad-hoc analyses to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Ensure proper structure of business in used systems and support process to set-up these structures.
  • Act as a financial business partner to support and challenge the business, identify best-in-class solutions and trends to safeguard the success of our growth ambitions.
  • Maintain and strengthen good working relationships with internal counterparties within RWE Renewables.
  • Develop and continuously improve planning and controlling tools, especially with a focus on automation and digitalization.
  • Implement and refine structures and processes to ensure an efficient way of working for all involved stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent university degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • At least 1-3 years of experience in a controlling/subsidiary management/finance area.
    • Profound knowledge and understanding of the European energy market and related regulations, especially in Poland.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format.
    • Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills to establish and foster effective working relationships in a cross-cultural environment.
    • Highly reliable and flexible team player with good self-organisation and a strong commitment.
    • Good skills in SAP (FI/CO/BI) and MS Office.
    • Familiarity with IFRS; Polish GAAP is a plus.
    • Fluent in Polish and English.
