We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Regional Controlling organization in Germany and Austria. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, statutory, and tax requirements.

Job Summary

The Financial Controller will support the Controlling team in executing US GAAP, statutory, and tax accounting. This role requires a strong understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration with finance and non-finance teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the Controlling team in executing US GAAP, statutory, and tax accounting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for entities under your purview.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and non-finance teams, as well as external vendors, to execute end-to-end financial processes.
  • Resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational environment or in audit.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and tax issues.
  • Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills with a diplomatic and flexible attitude.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (German desirable).
