Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at State Street, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and review all accounting-related functions for assigned funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verify and review the work performed by Fund Accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Liaise with internal clients and supporting departments to resolve errors and discrepancies.
- Assist in the organization of the team and ensure adherence to departmental procedures and controls.
- Perform special projects and tasks as assigned by the Team Supervisor.
- 2+ years of experience in fund administration, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
