About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Analyst to join our Commercial Risk department in Krakow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating finance activities and working closely with local teams to ensure timely delivery of services.

Responsibilities

  • Verify information received from insurers against system records
  • Perform calculations using available system information
  • Analyze booking differences, brokerage and commission differences, incoming bank payments, intercompany payments, reconciliation, and collection
  • Work collaboratively with local teams to ensure all work is completed efficiently
  • Cooperate with the team coordinator and team to meet service level agreements
  • Suggest and implement changes to tools and documentation needed for effective service delivery
  • Transition processing scope into the newly built team located in Krakow/Poland
  • Develop, track, and report metrics/performance on various business situations/projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, requiring system and process migration, training/transition management, knowledge management & retention, risk evaluation, and mitigation

Requirements

  • English and Dutch language proficiency at least at +B2 level
  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with focus on technical accounting rules and experience researching accounting issues
  • Ability to manage high volume of transactions in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with high degree of accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to communicate with upper-level management and external customers in written and verbal manner
  • Flexibility and openness to new challenges and tasks
  • Willingness to improve and automate work
