Job Title: Cloud Platform Senior Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Senior Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating highly scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications using mainly Java/Go, Spring framework, Git, and Maven.
  • Work as a part of a cross-functional, Agile development team, embracing the Scrum approach.
  • Contribute to providing a high-quality code by following the best practices and design patterns.
  • Design and write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
  • Actively drive non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, migration, and compatibility.
  • Collaborate with members of the wider product development team across multiple international locations.
  • Present your own ideas to your team and management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive, practical knowledge of the Java programming language with Spring framework and how Java applications are built.
  • Practical knowledge of the GO language would be beneficial.
  • Experience in working with a cloud provider such as Microsoft Azure and knowing how to leverage its capabilities.
  • Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or Docker technology.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc.
  • Expertise to explain technical problems and understand business requirements.
  • Capability and willingness to work as a part of a self-organizing team.
  • Proven experience in working as a part of distributed teams.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of an enterprise e-commerce solution.

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
