Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive cloud infrastructure optimization, automation, and monitoring improvements. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while collaborating with development teams to enhance deployment pipelines and support continuous integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily within Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and DynamoDB.
- Implement AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) for efficient serverless deployments, managing Lambda functions and other serverless components.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Ansible.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, ensuring automated, repeatable deployments across environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline and improve the build and deployment processes, integrating testing and quality assurance checks into pipelines.
- Implement and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and orchestrate containers with Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
- Set up and continuously improve monitoring solutions for infrastructure, network, and application performance using tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, and Sentry.
- Implement and maintain Real User Monitoring (RUM) and synthetic monitoring to track application performance and proactively identify issues.
- Ensure the scalability and resilience of serverless architecture, monitoring key serverless components such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Work closely with software development teams to support code releases, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure robust deployment processes, and support teams in debugging and resolving infrastructure or application issues.
- Participate in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-availability systems in collaboration with development and architecture teams.
- Implement and manage security best practices across infrastructure, including IAM roles, VPC configurations and automated patching of systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols, conducting regular audits.
