About the Position
We are seeking a Global Product Compliance Manager to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and certification requirements across all product categories. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of applicable legislation, including technical regulations, certification, hygienic and labeling requirements for commercial and non-commercial goods.
- Monitoring legislative changes and taking timely action to communicate and implement updates.
- Selecting certification schemes based on product types and business needs.
- Organizing certification-inspection visits to manufacturing facilities, if required.
- Ensuring accuracy in applications for Certificates or Declarations of Conformity, State Registration documents.
- Making informed decisions to minimize unnecessary costs, such as avoiding certification for low-quantity orders or opting for local supply when feasible.
About You
We are looking for individuals with:
- Experience in certification of textile, cosmetics, and homeware products.
- The ability to interpret and verify applications for certificates, read and use test protocols.
- Experience in customs brokerage and importing textile goods is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Fluent in English and Russian to effectively interact with internal teams and external governmental bodies.
